Res Medica was first published in 1957 by the Royal Medical Society. It is one of the longest running student led journals in the United Kingdom. Medical student research is at the heart of our journal model and students are involved in reading, writing and reviewing of all our articles, all guided by expert academics and clinicians.
Res Medica is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal. All content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, unless otherwise stated. There are no fees to access or publish in the journal.

We invite submissions in the form of academic articles, essays, shorter reflective pieces, and pieces of practice in the form of multimedia and interactive applications.
